The country’s history goes back about 5000 years, so they have proven themselves in presented one of the oldest and most complex cultures in all of history. This culture was the one to influence many Middle Eastern and European countries.

After the rule of the Pharaohs, Egypt was then influenced by Hellenism, Christianity, and Islamic traditions. The ancient culture is still in a way prevalent in many of the interactions of new elements, including the western culture that is beginning to dominate in Egypt.

Cairo is the country’s capital, and is the largest city in Africa. It has been known for many centuries to be the center of culture, commerce, and learning in the region. It has the highest number of Nobel Laureates in the Arab World and many politicians were born and raised in Cairo as well. Cairo was the center of the country’s activity in ancient times, which tells a lot about the art and architecture that came from this city and is still coming from this city.
