Dubai is one the few totally cosmopolitan cities in the world and people of every hue and color are to be found in Dubai. In fact official statistics show that the city's population is mostly made up of immigrants, with the native population being only a tenth of the city's total population.

Dubai rich Arabic and Islamic culture is another great attraction of the city. Dubai is a city of great contrasts, where traditional Arab village life is to be found alongside the trappings of a modern cosmopolitan city. Dubai is actually one the places one gets to experience authentic Arabic culture. Dubai is also located in the Islamic holy land of Arabia, and most of the one million Muslim pilgrims who visit Mecca annually find their way into Dubai before or after the pilgrimage.
